Check any YouTube channel against the public monetization thresholds. Free, no sign-up. It reads public numbers only, so it cannot see watch hours.
Paste an @handle or a channel link. It is checked against the Partner Programme thresholds using public numbers.
This YouTube monetization checker looks up a public channel and sets its numbers against the subscriber bar of the YouTube Partner Program: 1,000 subscribers. Paste an @handle, a channel link or the channel ID. You see the subscriber count, the video count and the total views, and whether the public subscriber count clears the bar.
It cannot tell you whether a channel is monetized. YouTube does not publish that, and watch hours are private to the owner in Studio. A pass means the public subscriber count is not the blocker. It does not mean the channel earns from ads. A fail means the count is still below the bar.
The subscriber count is YouTube's rounded public figure, kept for up to an hour. For your own channel, Studio has the final word. To plan the watch hours this page cannot see, use the Watch Hours Calculator.
YouTube does not publish a channel's monetization status in its public data. The owner sees it in YouTube Studio under Earn. From outside you can only look for signs, such as ads on its videos or a Join button. This page checks the public numbers a channel needs, not the status itself.
It is accurate about the public numbers it reads and silent about what it cannot see. It does not read watch hours, strikes or whether an application was approved, so be wary of any tool that claims to show a channel's real status.
1,000 for the standard Partner Program route, together with the watch hours or Shorts views YouTube asks for. YouTube also has an earlier tier for fan funding with a lower bar. The Monetization Calculator covers the hours side and the current dates.
No. Watch hours, Shorts views, strikes and any application you have filed are private to the owner in Studio. This tool reads public data only.
The calculator takes numbers you type in and works out the gap and a likely earnings range. This page looks a channel up and reads its public numbers, so it also works on a channel you do not own.
