This tag extractor shows the tags a creator added to a public video. Tags are a keyword list in the video's metadata, not the #hashtags in the title or description. Paste a watch, Shorts or youtu.be link and the tags come back as chips. Click one to copy it.
Above the chips is a counter against YouTube's 500-character limit. Commas between tags count toward it, and YouTube's API counts a tag that contains a space as two characters longer, for the quote marks it adds. Our counter includes the commas but not those quote marks, so a list of multi-word tags can run a little higher than the number shown.
We only read the tags. We do not add, score or rank them. YouTube says tags play a minimal role in discovery, so use this to see how a video was labelled, such as common misspellings or alternate names, not as a ranking shortcut.
